Hi, I'm Kai Yoshida — a Mechanical Engineering Master's student.

Hello! I completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University and am now pursuing my Master's in Mechanical Engineering with a Concentration in Mechatronics. I enjoy hands-on design and problem-solving and have a growing interest in prototyping and mechanism design.

I've completed two co-ops that gave me a well-rounded view of product development: at Mascon I built skills in quality engineering, GD&T, and manufacturing tolerances; at SharkNinja I worked as a New Product Development Engineer on the cordless vacuum team, getting exposure to prototyping, design for manufacturability, and the full arc of consumer product development.

I was also part of the NU Robotics Club, working on a gesture-controlled robotic arm, and independently prototyped a 5-axis, servo-powered robotic arm as a personal project. Outside of academics, I'm a lifelong skier and soccer player, a big food enthusiast, and I express my artistic side through sketching and thrifting.
